Wild Oregano oil and Oregacyn – the differences
and benefits
Our oil is from wild mountain grown plants
that are hand picked in the Eastern Mediterranean areas of Turkey
where a conservation program is in place covering some 40 or more
villages to protect over picking of this valuable resource. North
American Herb and Spice have built, and pay for, the running of schools
for over 500 children plus through their management, as well as funding,
the collection, preparation and processing of the various local herbs
(oregano, rosemary, sage etc.) to provide much needed employment so
vital for the maintaining of rural family life.

Oregano oil

After traditional steam distillation the extracted oregano oil
is blended with extra virgin olive oil. The regular strength
is 25% oregano and 75% olive. This is our most popular item
due to the versatility of the oil which is edible and can be
taken internally or applied topically. The P73 reference is
the laboratory code number used at the Georgetown University
in Washington during the research and testing program supervised
by Dr Harry Preuss. This oil possesses high levels of the germ
killing polyphenol Carvacrol and is usually sufficient to deal
with most everyday problems. 13.5ml

Oreganol P73
gelcaps.
The very same oil as above is encapsulated
into a soft gelatine capsule containing the equivalent of 7
drops. This allows for rapid delivery into the digestive tract
without the dissipation of oil in the mouth and throat plus
there is no taste, warming sensation in the mouth or odour on

Super strength

less olive oil as the carrier making the concentration 300%
stronger than our regular oil. This oil is for those looking
for more killing power per drop and is in a larger bottle to

Oregacyn P73

Using specialised technology, the oils
of our wild Oregano P73, Cumin and Sage are emulsified and dried
giving a greater concentration of the germ killing and anti-oxidant
powers of these powerful herbs. The synergistic benefits of
these herbs are especially helpful for those with respiratory
problems caused by molds, fungi and yeasts. Suitable for vegetarians.

Oregamax.
This is the crude whole crushed wild
oregano herb as gathered by the villagers to which is added
Rhus Coriaria (a wild mountain berry), garlic and onion. It
provides a rich source of anti-allergy flavonoids, not found
in the oil such as malic, tannic and gallic acids. Crude wild
oregano is a rich source of calcium, iron, and magnesium. An
excellent source of phenolic acids this formula is an ideal
herbal tonic with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
